A B O U T

Hi! I’m Toshiko, a Los Angeles-based photographer, stylist, and creative specializing in lifestyle imagery across food & beverage, interiors, and beyond. From concept to execution, I often lead projects end-to-end, bringing together creative direction, styling, photography, videography, and retouching to create thoughtful, compelling visuals for brands.

I spent three years working as a photographer and videographer at a food & beverage advertising agency, where I gained hands-on experience in commercial production and visual storytelling. Since then, I’ve continued working with brands across lifestyle, ecomm, and social, including Coppola Wine, Häagen-Dazs, and Nissin, as well as clients like Mazda and REI through my freelance work. Whether creating polished product imagery or more candid, lived-in lifestyle content, I aim to make visuals that feel intentional, engaging, and true to each brand.

Originally from Hong Kong, I spent most of my time in the Bay Area before making Los Angeles home eight years ago. I hold a BA in Art Practice from UC Berkeley.

When I’m not on set or in the studio, you’ll probably find me cooking, rock climbing, or exploring the outdoors, always on the lookout for good light and good food.
